Let The Good Times Flow!
Namkhong is a national beer of Laos in Asia - established by Asia Pacific Breweries (now Heineken) in 2009. The name 'Namkhong' is derived from Mae Nam Khong (also known as the ‘Mekong River’) that runs through the region. The Boat Racing Festival, which takes place from the north to the south of the river, inspired the packaging design that Dale created while at his previous agency in Singapore.
The new design brings the boat rowers to the forefront of the design - locking them in with the logotype to create a more cohesive brand. The rowers look even more determined - representing a more optimistic view towards the future.
We created a new advertising concept that had a strong connection to water, and also captured the sense of celebration during the festival. Let The Good Times Flow!
