In the lap of luxury…

McCann Sthlm is a professional photography service for high-end real estate. It’s owner, Philip McCann started the company six years ago as he could see there was a demand for high quality imagery for properties over five million Swedish krona in the Stockholm area. At that time the market was dominated by two big photo agencies that where producing the same image quality/style for small bedsits in the suburbs as well as for luxury apartments in the city centre. He decided to target the luxury end of the market taking inspiration form interior design magazines rather than adopting the trend of, “show everything…make it look big”.

Working with luxury apartments, his aim is to capture a lifestyle rather than documenting square meters. Philip approached us to create his brand identity to reflect his high quality approach, as well as portray a point of difference in the market.

Having spent some time with Philip and his team, we soon got a sense of his love for capturing luxury living. Researching the McCann archive we were instantly drawn to the contrast of curves and sharp angles, thicks and thins, as well as the dark and light tones in his work. Clean lines and purposefully placed objects of desire all add to the professional nature of what makes McCann Sthlm.

Our solution is inspired by the beauty of the architectural details across his portfolio. A Nordic design aesthetic of clean lines and a monochromatic colour palette is now crucial in representing his style. The result is a high quality and contemporary brand identity. It feels professional, yet still manages to capture his artistic flair.
