A snack revolution!
There is a quiet snack revolution that is changing how people purchase their treats. Nestlé want to be at the forefront of that, championing the discovery of plant-based food with the launch of their vegan KitKat. They have worked hard to create a snack that would live up to the high expectations of KitKat lovers everywhere.
When Love Mondays saw the design that was initially launched, it raised a lot of questions and we felt like there was way more potential to be unlocked. Why should KitKat V resemble a diet product with less taste appeal? Why should the brand be diluted? Why should it look like a taste variation from the parent brand? KitKat V should appeal to the mainstream who are looking to reduce their overall meat and dairy intake.
We presented our ideas to Nestlé and they were really excited about the work. Our approach was much more brand first, and brought it’s iconic status to the forefront of existing KitKat lover.
